I urge everyone not to send any money to the RNC for 2008 as long as they continue to support the likes of Senator Chuck Hagel and Lincoln Chafee. Hagel's recent comments and push for a cloture vote in the Senate only solidify my belief on the matter. Not only would this vote be a slap in the face to President Bush, but it would also be detrimental to our troops. The Democrats continue to claim that this is a false assertion, even though General Petraeus and Secretary Gates have both stated otherwise. I was sickened to watch Mr Hagel yell at other Republicans for not having any courage. I believe the Sen. Luger had it right when he commented back that it does not take courage to pass a toothless non-binding resolution.We need Republicans in office that are going to be strong and stand for the right thing, not the easiet or most popular. I urge all Republicans to sign the petition and let the RNC know that our money will no longer support these RINO Senators. If Sen. Hagel believes his recent stance is going to further any of his Presidential ambitions, he is greatly mistaken.
